I always wanted to have a treadmill at home so that I can walk atleast a km or two without fearing traffic, rains, dogs, open drains or going to a costly gym. My

 search (research) for a good home treadmill lead me to compiling these desirable features..*  AC motor.....MUST...for serious users only * Treadmill should be

 bearing atleast 120 kg. * Should have more than 18 inches wide belt. * Should be able to run continuously for 1-2 hr.* Should have no added frills or useless 

features.* Reliable customer service.* Within 60k.I understood the fact that, all machines are Chinese built (until and unless proven otherwise) and rebranded..

..including the costly ones. So thepick should be for features/ price/ service.The models I found good were fitking, durafit and PowermaxRest all brand

 had service problems or were not having the desired features, or were outrightly costly (cockatoo) ..now coming to individual models.

FITKING - hell of a machine, too good but very costly and may be an overkill for home use, but really no other brand has such machines at the price 

they offer in India. I have seen a fitking model being continuously used (abused) from 5.30 am to 10.30 am, 1pm to 3 pm (ladies batch) and 4 pm to

 10 pm ! for years in an upmarket ac gym....and the users were people from 40 kg to 140 kg weight. the machine had routine maintenance with lubrication and

 belt replacement only..no other issues..!POWERMAX - good machines, overpriced, gimmicky, TDA330 heavy built, stable ,useless graphics, costly

TDA 350 light built, good user interface, best incline, TAC 400 - same as tda350 but with an AC motor, the description in brochure is misleading, it is just 2 hp 

chp not 4....company guys should not think that we customers are fool...??.. there is hell of a difference between a 2 hp and a 4 hp AC motor.

powermax machine when compared to similar featured machines of other brand was 10-15 K costlier...?? (may be to compensate for maintaining

 warehouse , logistics etc) because this price difference is not reflected in quality. A light built machine like TAC 400 with max user weight of 

120 kg is 15k costlier than other AC machines of the same capacity.....why ??... other than tda 330 all other powermax machines were light built

 and did not feel stable on jogging...leave alone anything more than 12 km/ hrWELLCARE, EXCEL, and other local Coimbatore assembled products....were 

average light construction machines....require the user to be of less than 65 -70 kg weight, best for light to moderate users.DURAFIT -

Pros - well kept site, true information about different parameters and functions, heavy built machines, beautifully packed, cost effective, good services.
Cons- HEAVY machines !! really heavy, the packed machine was about ~ 120-125 kg in weight (machine+ stabiliser + spray) and took 3-4 people 

to move in, for serious long term users only. I had to pay money to the driver of the courrier company ( DTDC) for bringing the machine to my 

house..! ..while Amazon claims door step delivery. Now coming to the machine I bought - durafit champion, 3.5 hp AC motor, weighing ~100 kg. if 

not more, HEAVY BUILT, clear simple useful display, wide belt like in commercial machines, smooth operations, no fancy features, max user wt 150 kg ..

..platform feels very stable due to the weight. Has wheels for moving but due to the weight....one had to be careful while moving it, being an AC motor..

can be used continuously for 1-2 hrs. Customer service is a sweet experience they are prompt and keep their words.Disadvantages ..... really iam nitpicking 

now...has poor incline, another an inch or two of incline would have made this a dream machine and speaker could have been better....I know it is the least

 important thing in a treadmill..but still you know i have to say something..!I would recommend this company because they offer machines which are solidly

 built and are definitely going to last. Machines are priced competitively because they have no middle men only online sales (like Xiaomi) so no godowns

 no useless workforce....better and cost effective business practices....lower price for the customer.I'm satisfied with my machine....will keep posting ...regards
